证书 & 认证: Not the Same Thing
证书 programs allow you to take a small number of courses to gain a deeper underst和ing of a specific aspect of a field of study.
认证 are granted by organizations associated with particular industries, 比如教育, accounting or counseling. To earn a certification, you generally have to fulfill educational 和 field learning requirements 和 pass an exam offered by an official certifying agency. While credits earned through certificate or degree programs can sometimes help to fulfill educational requirements required by certifying organizations, this is not always the case. If you are interested in earning a specific professional certification, please check with the certifying organization to learn what they require.
